Mylapore Festival 2012

There is a Kolam Contest that will be held in Mylapore Festival 2012.Kolam lovers in Chennai can use this contest to stage their professionalism in drawing kolams.There are other contests that will be held.Thanks to Sundaram Finance for organizing such events.


Details of the event :
On Jan. 7 and 8, 3.30 pm. People are invited to design traditional 'pulli' kolam in designated spaces on North Mada Street. Open to 125 people, first come first serve. Your kolam can be of a chain pattern or a design by joining the dots. You can create a design of your own. Only white kolam powder should be used and use of colours or 'Rangoli' is not permitted. Registration opens on Nov. 25, 2011.Call Sharada at 94457 64499(10 a.m. to 1 p.m) to register
